TRANSPORTATION TO LIVERMORE, SEEDS OF CHANGE
SATURDAY, AUGUST 6, 20055:00 P.M.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: to William Payne Park, 5800 Patterson Pass Rd., Livermore CA: I-580, exit on Vasco Rd go South to Patterson Pass Rd. Turn Right onto Patterson Pass Rd. The Park is here. Turn right for the parking lot. Parking in the lot is limited. There is more parking in the residential area surrounding the park, however, all parking is limited and we strongly encourage carpooling.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Dublin/Pleasanton: Shuttle service from BART station to William Payne Park begins at 4:00 PM and will run every 20 minutes to meet every train until 7 PM. After this time call 510-517-2304 for a pickup. Vans/cars used for shuttles will be marked “Peace and Freedom Party.” Shuttles will pick folks up at the passenger pick-up. Shuttles will run the duration of the event. For shuttle questions contact Ron (510) 540-5469.
Wheelchairs: Transportation for can be arranged by calling Para transit IN ADVANCE at (925) 455-7510.
Berkeley Bikers: Bikers gather at Sproul Plaza around noon. Arrive at Dublin Bart station at about 2:30. This ride is 30 or so miles and has some hills. Bring sunscreen and adequate water. Wind has been strong in the past. Call 510-597-1540 or e-mail
