We need your help to make sure that every member of Congress hears our message this summer—the American people demand a swift and responsible end to the occupation of Iraq. Peace Action West is taking that pressure to the next level by having constituents sign a pledge saying they will not vote for, contribute to, or volunteer for any member of Congress who does not take concrete action to bring our troops home and stabilize Iraq.

To make this campaign a success, we need as many signatures as possible. You can help us by following these steps:

• Bring copies of the pledge to events and gatherings and ask people to sign. Some ideas for getting signatures:
  • Friends, family and neighbors
  • Church
  • Political clubs
  • Farmers markets, fairs and other events
  • Social events
• Please try to make sure that all the people on the same page live in the same congressional district. This will make it easier to deliver them to members of Congress.
